Nuggs and I have been talking about an event - just haven't managed to make the time to just do it.

We're open to ideas/suggestions... We are not available on Dec. 6 but I think other dates are as open as they are going to be...

We are over due for a social event. I know with the increased gas prices this summer and a slowing economy times are tough. So I was thinking lets drum up some blood here and I'll get the LSR Gang on board for an event in January. Any suggestions? I was thinking split the difference between the two group and perhaps do something in the Woodstock area.

Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Kevin and me and my kids mostly go out geocaching. Just started really have about 10 caches under my belt.

During my non-geocaching time I'm a father of 5 and work as an engineer/office manager for a engineering/surveying and planning firm in cartersville. We have done some projects around the area. Great Sky is the most recognizable in canton.

Well look forward to hearing from lots of you.

Kevin

Wish I could make it.  I work late on weeknights.   Definitely a good cause though... made me think twice about going places alone after that happened Sad

I just found out from mtn-man that I can't post the event cache because it's less than two weeks out.  I also wouldn't be allowed to mention the charity, so that would mean I wouldn't be able to tell anyone about needing the "dining to donate" coupon.

Please help me spread the word about this event and/or make plans to eat at Applebee's on June 25th.

I'm thinking about putting together an event cache to support the Right to Hike Foundation. It was founded by Meredith Emerson's friends and family in celebration of her life. Funds go to support hiking safety. You can visit the foundation's website for more details.  Here's the link: http://www.righttohikeinc.com/Home.6.0.html

Applebees has agreed to donate 15% of food and beverage sales on June 25th for each party who presents a "dining to donate" coupon, available on the link.  I'd like to get some feedback to gauge the amount of interest and to see which Applebees location would be most convenient for everyone.  Please either reply to this post or contact me at Shelley.m@comcast.net.

Thanks
